I am looking to book a flight on Air Italia both legs of JFK-FCO-PMO in July. The flight has a 1h35m layover. Is that enough time for a family of 5 US Citizens with carry-on and checked luggage? Thanks!
Delta has posted an update for checking in. Now we go to Terminal 1 and drop bags then are directed to passport control. Does that mean we no longer make a trip to Terminal 5?
Yes, that appears to be the case - you will no longer use Terminal 5 to depart. You will check in in Terminal 1 and then proceed through Schengen Exit passport control and security to your departure gate in Terminal 3.
Can someone advise me if we will need to go through Customs only in Rome and then recheck our baggage from FCO to ATL since we are on 2 different reservations using frequent flyer points. Taking Delta. Also how much time to get from Terminal 3 to Terminal 5?
I would want at least 2.5 hours for this transfer. Yes, you will have to go through Schengen Entry passport control upon arrival in order to claim your bags and go to T5.
Flying TLV - FCO - JFK. I have a 1hr 25 minutes layover all on one ticket, all Alitalia (klm codeshare). Is this enough time? Which terminal will I land in and from which will I take off from? How far apart are they?
You will both arrive and depart from Terminal 3. You have enough time.
Supposed to be flying in that morning via Aer Lingus from Dublin with afternoon departure to Catania via Alitalia. Does anyone have any info to share about likelihood, alternatives, etc? Will any personnel at the airpot be working, for luggage collection, etc.? Thanks.
