I am traveling from Amsterdam with a UK passport (I'm from the UK). My layover is 1 hour and 26 minutes and I am traveling to Albuquerque. I don't have any checked baggage (I am only carrying a backpack) and I won't have any food/drink on me. What am I required to do before I go to my connecting gate? Do you think I have sufficient time?
I am coming from Amsterdam with a UK passport. I only have a backpack with me, what am I required to do? I have a 1 hour and 26 minute layover before I fly to Albuqurque. I won't have any drinks or food with me either. Is this enough time, I'm a little concerned? I'm flying with Delta too.
From what I have seen, 54 mins seems like a ok amount of time for connection at SLC, Compass DBA Delta connection to Delta Airlines. My question is do we have to claim our baggages and recheck with Delta? If not, how reliable is baggage transfer at SLC. Thx.
You pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. All you have to do in SLC is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time. It is a very reliable airport.
Hi, I am on an international flight from Amsterdam and have only 59 minutes for a connecting flight to Rapid city. Do we have to collect bags? we are UK passport folders will we have enough time?
Yes, you have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate. You have barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
Question then,

I am coming from Amsterdam with a UK passport. I only have a backpack with me, what am I required to do? I have a 1 hour and 26 minute layover before I fly to Albuqurque. I won't have any drinks or food with me either. Is this enough time, I'm a little concerned? I'm flying with Delta too.
how do i know which gate my connecting flight will be on Delta and what do i do if i have only a very short time between connecting flights
Use the Delta app or Delta.com on your phone to see. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
How far is the walk between Gate -B and Gate - E. The gate number for connecting flight shown is E -62, I do not see on the map. Would I able to catch connecting flight in 50 minutes?
That is enough time. It's less than a 15 minute walk.
today (12/14/2017) at 6pm, two of our employees are flying form BOI to LAX with 30 mins connection at SLC, Terminal, Unit 2. Is that enough time?
I'm arriving on a Southwest flight at 12:55 pm and departing on Delta at 2:11pm. Will I have to check in somewhere or go straight to the next flight gate? Will this be enough time?
Do you have checked bags or not? If you have no checked bags and check-in online then you can go straight to your departure gate. If you have checked bags you will have to claim them, re-check them with Delta, and go through security.
Have only 30 minutes between gates-I know we arrive at the smaller Delta plane gates which is at far end of Terminal 2 and have to catch a flight to Atlantas--I don't have our departing gate number but know its going to be quite a ways but in same terminal. Is there any assistance offered at airport to rush us thru.
There's no way to rush other than to run.
Flying from Sacramento to Manchester (UK) via Salt Lake City and Paris... the layover at SLC is only 47 minutes which seems very tight - as both incoming/outgoing flights are Delta, is 47 minutes enough? Thanks.
EDIT: Just to add, I'm a UK citizen with no Pre-TSA or anything like that, and I realise that my checked bag wouldn't need to be re-checked at SLC, so I guess I'd be going right from one gate to another (possibly having to go through security again as I'd be flying out internationally).
All you have to do at SLC on your way out of the US is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. No security necessary. You have enough time.
Thanks ZAP
