Coming from Amsterdam with delta and going to Las Vegas with a stopover at SLC and is only 1hr 16min enough for layover.
That's barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
Hey I have a layover in SLC. landing at 9:15am at terminal 2 and have to connect with a flight at 9:45am in terminal 3. Is this doable? How do you get from terminal 2 to terminal 3?
You just walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. If both flights are on Delta that is enough time.
The second leg of my flight is actually on Aeromexico. I'm not sure if it is run by Delta or not
Yes, both flights will be on Delta.
If flying Delta, Boston to Hilo, with a stop-over at in Salt Lake City (change of planes), will I have to claim my checked bags and re-check them? Or will that be taken care of automatically through Delta? Also, the stop if only 1 hour and 20 minutes. Is this enough time to make it to the next plane (also a Delta flight), especially if I have to claim luggage and recheck it.
You won't have to claim your bags in SLC. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Thank you. I'm not familiar with SLC. Is it a small airport? Will it be easy to get from the arrival gate to the departure gate? My college student will be traveling solo and I just want to be sure she won't run into any problems.
SLC is relatively small by hub airport standards.
I'm flying to YYZ from ONT and having an hour layover at SLC in between. Will my connecting gate be in the international terminal or will it be close to the one I arrive out of? Thank you in advance
SLC doesn't have an "International Terminal". All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Hi we are British and potentially flying into SLC from LHR en route to Fresno with Delta/Skywest. Our layover is 2hrs 6 min are we going to be ok for clearing customs etc. We will have checked bags? Thank you
Yes, that should be enough time.
Hi, I only have 1,5 hrs between arrival from Amsterdam (Delta) and connection to Spokane (Delta). Is that enough time to clear immigration and customs?
Yes, that is enough time if everything goes smoothly.
ZAP - hi - i noticed that you are saying there is only 1 terminal in SLC but looking at the SLC airport map - there is terminal 1 and 2 and there is the international terminal.
They're all the same building. It's sort of disingenuous when the airport calls them multiple "terminals". I think they're trying to make the airport seem bigger than it is.
I am a US citizen flying from Calgary to Tampa on Delta with a 53 minute layover in Salt Lake City. Do I have to get luggage and go through customs in SLC? Do I have enough time to do this?I just got my Global Entry pass.
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Calgary. All you have to do in SLC is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
ARR SLC DL flight, connex to EUG on Sky West - 40 min --- will I be on same concourse/have time?
The flights will likely be on different concourses but you have enough time if the first flight is on-time. All gates at SLC are connected inside security.
