Two friends flying to Toronto Canada through connecting flight in SLC. One from PDX and the other from BOI. Where do we clear customs going and coming back (returning to the same cities) and how much time does it require? Thanks

There is no US Customs when leaving the US, so you go through Canadian Immigration and Customs in Toronto. On the way back, you pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto, so both ways in SLC all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

I am flying from Manchester UK to Las Vegas with connecting flights in Paris and Salt Lake City. My flight lands in SLC at 13.57 and my connecting flight to Vegas is at 15.10, giving just over 1 hour. Do I have time to make my plane? What will happen if I miss it?

That is just enough time if everything goes perfectly. If you miss your connection you will be rebooked on the next available flight to Las Vegas. If that's in a long time, it's not a horrible drive or bus ride from Salt Lake city to Las Vegas.

I'm connecting from Amsterdam to Vancouver through SLC with a one hour and 15 minute layover. Is this adequate time to collect my bags and clear Customs?

If I lose a Delta flight to Bozeman due to my flight (also Delta) is delayed, (only 41 minutes between flights, arrival and departures would be in Terminal 2) do you think that Delta would accept that I take the following flight to Bozeman without buying a new ticket? Thanks

Yes, if you miss your connection due to the first Delta flight being late, Delta WILL book you on the next available flight to Bozeman.

Thank you. My itinerary would be Buenos Aires (Argentina), Atlanta, Salt Lake, Bozeman, all the flights with Delta. My luggage dispatched in Buenos Aires would be delivered directly in Bozeman? Or I should collect it in any airport (for example Salt Lake) and to check it in other desk? My question is due to the 41 minutes that I would have between flights. Thanks so much!!

You will have to claim your bags in Atlanta to take them through US Customs. In Salt Lake City all you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

My son is returning on a direct flight from Amsterdam to SLC. Where will we be able to meet up with him? He has been gone a long time and we want to meet up with him just as soon as possible. Will he have to go through customs in SLCS?

Yes, in SLC he will go through US Immigration, claim his bags and go through US Customs. You can meet him at the exit of US Customs.
