Hello I am arriving from Amsterdam at S gate in Seattle. I have a separate ticket for an onward flight to Victoria, Canada which leaves from C gate. After I clear customs and immigration can I go directly to C gate without a boarding pass? Or do I need to go outside the terminal and re enter the departure terminal?
If you have checked bags you will need to go to the main terminal, re-check your bags with Alaska, and go through security.
I am flying into Concourse A on Jetblue arriving into Seattle at 10:32am. My connecting flight is on Alaska Air is at 12:15pm in Concourse C. I ended up extending my trip and now think I have to check bags. Given they are two different reservations on two different airlines, is an hour and 45 minutes enough time to do this? Thanks so much for the feedback!
That's barely enough time to claim your bags, re-check them and go through security.
Do you think having TSA Pre check will help in this circumstance? Thanks again.
Arriving Alaska (Horizon) from Calgary (USA pre-clearance in Calgary)...Departing Hawaiian Airlines from South satellite (I think). Parents are elderly; are there moving sidewalks or buggies to carry them to the South train loop? How far is this?
Thanks in advance :)
If they need wheelchair assistance they can get it by calling Alaska. Is it one reservation or two separate reservations?
It is one reservation...I'm just trying to understand the transportation system....sounds like one underground train goes between N and S ends of main terminal, and separate trains run between these ends and their respective satellite terminals...is this accurate?
I am a canadian permanent resisent and unfortunately my US visa is now expired. Will I be able to transit at tacoma to vancouver?
If you are of a citizenship that requires a visa to enter the US, then you will not be allowed to board your flight to Seattle. You need to either get a new US Visa or rebook your flight to avoid the US.
I will be arriving in Seattle at 8:23am on a Monday morning Alaska Airlines flight from Victoria, BC and then connecting to the 9:50am Alaska Airlines flight to Denver. I am a US citizen and this trip is on one ticket; I will have one bag checked through to Denver. Is this sufficient time to clear customs and make the connection?
Yes, that should be enough time. Note that you will have to claim your bag in Seattle to take it through US Customs then immediately re-check it at the re-check desk before proceeding through security and to your departure gate.
