Planning to take United flight from Boston arriving in SEA at 10:39 am, and then hoping to make an 11:40 Alaskan Air flight to Sitka. These will be two separate tickets, as we're using miles for the United flight and buying the Alaskan one. However, United in Boston says they can transfer the luggage once it arrives in Seattle. Is one hour enough tie to make the connection? Thank you.
United doesn't fly from Boston to Seattle - are you stopping somewhere else first? United won't check your bags through to Alaska Air for you. With two separate reservations and checked bags I see no way you can make this.
I will be flying into SeaTac from YYJ on Monday in November early morning (arriving around 6-630 am)...with an hour and a half layover before leaving SeaTac for DEN. I have only one bag and it is usually not checcked, unless it is on a valet cart. Delta airlines. Is one and a half hours to get from the plane in SeaTac to the DEN gate (including chexkpoi ts) enough time? I have flown this route more tgan once, but this is the first time leaving myself only 1.5 hrs. Thanks
Yes, that should be enough time.
How long does it take to get from terminal (C) Alaskan Airlines to baggage claim?
Maybe 10 minutes. C is a concourse, not a terminal.
Hi There,
we are flying from FAI to SEA arriving at 1929 on DL and then on a separate ticket we depart at 2125 from SEA to YVR with AC.
is this enough transit time (2hrs) in SEA?
With no checked bags that should be plenty of time. With checked bags that should be enough time.
I am looking at a flight with Delta from Calgary to Atlanta. It has a layover in Seattle of just 41 min.
I will have 1 checked bag.
Will this be enough time?
It is all 1 ticket
Yes, that is just enough time if the first flight is on-time. You pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Calgary.
Hello, we are flying Norwegian from London Gatwick to Seattle landing at 11.30am, we are booked on an Alaska flight to Missoula at 3.30pm. We have carry on luggage only. Should we go through immigration and then check in for our Missoula flight or is there a transit desk where we can check in? Or should we go through immigration so we can get something to eat etc?
Hope you can help!
You have to go through US Immigration and Customs upon arrival, then you are outside security. Then you can check in for your Missoula flight and go through security and get something to eat if you have time.
I will fly from SFO and connecting at Seattle to Reykjavik. The layover time is just 1h25min. Would that be enough time for everything ? (Not sure if I need to go through custom again and claim bags).
Thanks.
There is no US Customs when leaving the US. What airline are you flying from SFO to Seattle? Are both flights on the same reservation?
I'm thinking about booking a flight on Delta from HNL to JFK, transferring through SEA. The layover time is only 35 minutes, but it is one ticket on Delta -- is this enough time for a transfer? Based on historical flights, it seems like the flight lands in Terminal A and departs from Terminal S. Unfortunately, there's no way to see if this schedule typically "works" because the same route is currently scheduled slightly different (with a 1 hour layover between the flights), and I'm looking at booking the route for January.
It is possible if the first flight is on-time but it leaves no time to spare.
We arrive at Seattle on United at 11:39 a.m., need to get our bags and check them with Hainan Airlines for a 2:00 p.m. flight to Beijing. Can we make it? Do we need to take a shuttle to the South satellite to actually get on the plane?
You have to go to the main terminal, claim your bags, re-check your bags with Hainan, then go through security and to your departure gate via the Underground Train. You should have just enough time.
We will arrive on Alaska Air from Juneau in early August 2018 at 8:25 am. We need to connect to a Delta flight at 9:30am. Will we have enough time to make it to the flight?
Is it one reservation or two separate reservations? Do you have checked bags?
Our tickets are issued separately from Delta and Alaska Airlines. We were planning to use only carry on luggage unless there is a possibility that Alaska Airlines would transfer checked bags to Delta if requested.
