IND to IAD to Brussels. Connection time in IAD is 1 hour and 35 minutes. Is that enough time for an international departure?
If both flights are on the same reservation that should be enough time. You just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
From Louisville SDF; Layover at Dulles IAD 01h 03m; connect to Vienna VIE, layover 02h15m; connect to Ljubjlana LJU. Possible to make these connections?
From Dubrovnik DBV; layover at Frankfurt FRA 02h 50m; connect to Dulles IAD, layover 02h 0m; connect to Louisville SDF Possible to make these connections?
Thanks.
Yes, those connections are all sufficient.
I am flying from Montego Bay (Jamaica) to Geneva (Switzerland) with United via Washington Dulles. My flight arrives in Washington at 16:25 and my flight to Switzerland is at 17:35. Do I have enough time for the transit? Thank you.
No, that is not enough time. You need to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to to your departure gate.
Thank you very much. What is a realistic time for all the process from going through immigration to departure gate? Thank you.
90 minutes would be the bare minimum with 2 hours preferable.
Thank you!
Arriving from from Edinburgh at 15.40 into to Dulles then connecting flight at to Charleston SC at 17.05 giving us 1hr 25mins to make the next flight - is this realistic?
That is barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
That's barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
Thanks, not sure what options we have now as both flights booked with United Airlines
I have flight from Orlando to Frankfurt on United via IAD and i have only 40 min layover
Is that enough time ?
Yes, it's enough time if the first flight is on-time but leaves no time to spare. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Thank you so much
Traveling from Boston to Aruba, connecting in IAD. 39 minute connection time. Will this be enough time to catch flight to Aruba? Flight from Boston is early, should be on time.
Yes, that should be enough time. Assuming both flights are on United you just have to walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Please can you advise re connecting time with UA arriving from intl flight to another intl flight? Is it better to check in luggage or to take it as a carry on cabin suitcase?
That is just enough time. Carry-on is faster since at IAD you do have to claim your bags to go through US Customs, even if you are connecting out of the US.
Many thanks
I will travel on Untied Airlines Fl# UA848 from RDU to IAD and have 1 hour layover at IAD before flying to Beijing on United Airlines FL#UA807, will I have enough time to make the layover?
Also, I will travel on this Thursday Jan 4th, do you know the gate of those flight?
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both on concourse C/D. You will know your exact gates the day of your flight on United.com.
Traveling in March with adult disabled daughter (we have her own travel wheelchair) arriving from LHR on United connecting to DTW also United. Connection time is 1hr 40 minuets.
That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Thank you for your response
My daughter (18 )is coming to IAD from Denver landing at gate D 19 January 1. Leaving to PVD from A1F. 45 minutes connection time, what is best route to new gate? Will checked bag go through to PVD?
The checked bag will go through. She will just take a shuttle to A. She has enough time if the flight from Denver is on-time.
