Does anyone know if United international flight and domestic flight has the same terminal?
Thanks
IAD only has one terminal. All you have to do in IAD on your way to Beijing is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
My United flight from Chicago arrives at IAD at 4:11 gate C19 my connection to Munich also United leaves at 5:30 gate C3 no checked bags do I have enough time?
Thanks
Yes, that is plenty of time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. It should take less than 10 minutes.
I am arriving on a United flight from Savannah at 9:08pm and have to connect with BA flight to London (depart 10:30pm). I need to check into the BA flight as not the same airline alliance. How much time do I need to get from the United terminal to the main terminal? Thanks
Dulles only has one Terminal. If you have checked bags you probably don't have enough time. With no checked bags you can probably do it.
Thank you.. but I made a dumb mistake. My flight to LHR departs at 11:30, not 10:30 so I've about 2.5 hours to transfer and check bags. I guess that's enough time?.flying Business class.

Why is there some sort of train at Dulles... Just to connect sections of airport?
Yes, that should be enough time. The train connects the gate areas to the terminal.
Hi,
I will be leaving Michigan for Nigeria through washington dulles. Flight from DTW to Washington will be with United while that from Washington to Nigeria through Addis ababa will be with Ethiopia airways. All with same booking. Please can you direct me on how to move from local arrival to the international departure. Do i need to claim my luggage at Washington?
If both flights are on the same reservation all you have to do in Dulles is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
UK citizen flying into Dulles from Richmond VA, with a connection on to London. 1 hour between flight connections - is that enough time?
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. There is no US Customs when leaving the US.
Hi,

I am a Canadian citizen and will be landing in IAD (Gate A1F) at 7:50 am. My next flight leaves for Honolulu at 8:45 am from gate C4. Both flights are with United Airlines and are on the same reservation. I have a checked luggage.

Will I need to go through security again before boarding my Honolulu flight?

Will I need to wait for my checked luggage and recheck it?

Thank you very much!
All you have to do in IAD is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You don't have to go through security or do anything with your checked bags. You have enough time.
Hi,
I have a connecting flight to washington, leaving from Montreal, my final destination is Tokyo, the first flight is with United and the second one with All Nippon Airways, do i have to reclaim my luggage in washington or will they transfer automatically.

Thank you.
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Montreal, so all you have to do in Dulles on the way to Tokyo is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate, nothing with your bags.
Thank you for the answer!
which entrance to airport i should use for departure check in
Dulles only has one terminal, enter near the sign that says "Porter"
I arrive on Spetember 1 at 11:17 on a United flight from Tampa and leave at 1:55 on Icelandair. I will not have checked bags to collect. Do I need to go through security and how much time will it take to get from my arrival gate to the departure gate? Thanks.
If you already have your Icelandair boarding pass you can go directly to your departure gate, which should take less than 20 minutes.
Thank you.
Hi,

Just realized that I only have an hour connection in IAD between my flight from Montreal and the one to San Francisco. The flight gets in on Monday morning at 8am and I plan on taking my backpack as a carry-on to save some time. Will I be ok?
You pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Montreal. All you have to do at IAD is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
