Overview

Public transportation at Athens Venizelos Airport: (Taxis are located near the Door 3 exit of the arrivals level.  Limousine service, on request, will also make pick-ups from there.)

Trains: The Airport railroad station is next to the main terminal and connected by an elevated walkway. It is served by both the
(a) Athens Metro Line 3 - serving  Pallini, Peania, Kantza & Kooropi stations - & running daily every 30 minutes (no service is available between 11pm & 6am). For more information open: tasy.gr/index.php?id=70&L=1.
(b) The Airport railroad station also connects via Urban Rail with the Athens Central Railway Station (Larissis) and the port of Piraeus, and Kiato.  For timetables call 14511.

Buses:   Public buses to Central Athens take 65 minutes;  to Piraeus 90 minutes.
1. Four bus routes connect Athens International with the greater Piraeus area: Buses X93, X95, X96 & X97. Buses leave from the Arrivals level (Lionson Station), between exits 4 & 5.  For more information call 185.
2. Regional bus KTEL Express coaches depart from the Arrivals level, near door 5, opposite of the Sofitel Hotel; they currently connect the Airport to Markopoulo & Rafina,  and separately to Lavrion, Kalyvia, and Keratea.  For more information call 14505 or +30 210 880 8080 - or visit:  ktelattikis.gr. .
