Parking options at Mexico City International: Parking Garages are across from each of the two terminals and Terminal 1 Garage is broken down into Domestic and International areas.  All parking facilities offer accessible parking for the disabled, seniors or pregnant women. Parking garages also offer Valet parking.

1. Terminal 1 Domestic Parking garage wih 7 partially open levels is located on Avenue Capitan Carlos Leon in front of entrances 1 & 2 of Terminal 1, in the national arrivals zone, open 24 hrs a day.  For  more parking information call  24/7 (01-55) 1560-2797 or 2599-1284.

2. Terminal 1 International Parking garage is in front of the international zone of the terminal. For more parking information call (01-55) 5802-8704.  There are 9 pre-payment machines (7 on access bridge to gate A for national arrivals) and 2 on acces bridge to gate B

4. Terminal 2 Parking, a multi-level  garage, is on one side of the Terminal's central patio, open 24 hrs a day. 14 pre-payment machines are available on levels 1 through 4.  It offers preferred parking spaces and shuttle service for disabled, senior or pregrant passengers.  For more parking information call (01-55) 2598-3338 or 3332.

Payment:  Keep your parking ticket with you and pay parking fees in Mexican pesos at one of the pre-payment machines - no paymet booths are at the exits.

International Section

2,106 spaces with surveillance camera for security - located on Av. Capitán Carlos León, across for the International Entrance of Terminal Building, adjacent to the Foreign Buses Terminal, open 24/365. Amenities include restrooms, elevators, car wash service and invoicing, as well as six prepaid machines on the second and third levels of Terminal Building (hallways connecting with Parking), Concourse E3 and pedestrian access to Foreign Buses Terminal.

As an alternative to on-site parking, there are off-airport parking at Mexico City Benito Juarez airport options which may offer significant discounts. Most have shuttle vans or buses which operate from their facilities to the terminals, and feature secure facilities with security guards and cameras 24 hours.

Many local hotels offer up to 2 weeks free parking with one night stay. This can be especially convenient if you have an early flight and need to park at Mexico City Benito Juarez airport. They provide shuttle service too.

Just make sure the hotel parking lot is secure as some aren’t monitored around-the-clock like airport and commercial lots.

It’s too easy to forget where you parked or where you put the parking ticket after an extended trip. Even if you’re running late, take the time to note where you parked in your cell phone, PDA or on the parking ticket if you take it with you. Just make sure you don’t lose the parking ticket, because most airports charge a hefty fee for missing tickets. For that reason, it may be safer to leave the ticket in your car.
