Main Terminal / Concourses at Birmingham-UK BHX Airport

Birmingham Airport opened its integrated terminal in May 2011, which also connnects via Air-Rail Link to the 'Birmingham International Rail Station & Interchange'. 
The Ground level of the terminal is the Arrivals level - divided between UK Arrivals (at right) and International Arrivals (at left), with check-in desks 1-48 in the center.  International Arrivals has an 'onward journey' information desk for transfer passengers.
Level 1 of the terminal is the Departures level.  After security check it  offers an array of shops, restaurants, airline lounges, American Express, Customs, reserved seating & Surfbox Internet, as well as access on opposite sides to gates 1-12, and gates 13-23 .

Airport  Airline Lounges:
The new 'Number 1 Traveler Lounge' 
- accessible to all passengers at a fee, is located at post-security,  has over 100 seats across two levels, and offers many amenities & business services - visit:  No1Traveller.com for details. 
The Aspire Lounge by Servisair - is available to all passengers at a free - visit:  executivelounges.com/aspire
The Flybe Lounge is across from Gate 18.
British Airways, bmi, & Servisair Lounges are on level 1.
NOTE: A new Regus Express Lounge will open 'later in 2014', accessible to all passengers, with secure WiFi access, printers, scanners, free refreshments & administrative support.  Location:  within minutes from either check-in or arrivals areas.

Caretakers of severely disabled persons can now use the state-of-the-art 'Changing Places' toilet, fitted with height-adjustable changing bench, overhead hoist system & space ensuring that both bench & toilet can be accessed from both sides of the wheelchair.

NEW:
1. Birmingham Airport is the first AP in UK to provide Amazon Locker collection service - where passengers may collect online orders from one of the lockers located in the south check-in hall near arrivals .
2. Following completion of a 400 meter runway extension to accommodate long-haul flights, the Airport opened a new transit facility in September 2014, whereby passengers with a connecting flight are able to remain at post-security - no need to pass through immigration or security again!
