- CDC Airport Overview
The Cedar City Regional Airport CDC is a small airport located two miles from downtown Cedar City, Utah--off Hwy 56, on Aviation Way--and is near some of Utah’s greatest natural attractions: Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park and Brian Head. The new passenger terminal offers Delta Connection (SkyWest) daily flights to/from Salt Lake City. CDC is able to accommodate larger airplanes used by charters with a runway of 8,653 feet. The number of daily flights depends on the season. As there is a long drive between CDC Airport and Salt Lake City (four hours) , you may save time by flying directly into Cedar City. The Airport Terminal is handy for the business or pleasure traveler offering free long-term parking next to the terminal, three on-site rental car agencies, a business conference room, not to mention hassle-free check-in and security screening.
Another new terminal with amenities for private pilots is located at Sphere One Aviation, the Airport’s Fixed Base Operation (FBO).
