The Welcome Center (tel. 704-359-4027) is located on the Baggage Level and provides general airport information, tourism information of Charlotte and the Mid-Carolinas Region, and paging services.

CLT Volunteers wearing yellow oxford shirts with 'Ask Me' name tags are disbursed throughout the Atrium - helping passengers with terminal directions to the various amenities, services & airline gates.

Note that curbsides are only intended for quick pickup/dropoffs; and for luggage check-in; unattended vehicles will be towed.
You have the option of parking in the hourly parking deck, free for the first 30 minutes.
Priority Lanes - 'Preferred' or 'Elite' airline passengers can ue either Checkpoints B or C Priority Lanes for expedicted security checks. Check with your airline for more information as to eligibility.
USO of North Carolina is a military lounge locate in the main terminal (above the Atrium, accessible by stairway or elevator), which is staffed by volunteers and offering a comfortable environment with free internet and phone services

International Travelers at Charlotte Douglas CLT Airport
All international arrivals - with the exception of those who went through U.S. Customs clearance at participating airports - need to go through passport control, pick up their bags and go with them through Customs clearance . If they continue their journey they need to re-check-in their bags where indicated, before proceeding to to their connecting flight's gate. For Terminal and /or Concourse connections, please refer to 'Terminal Map' page.
NOTE: Prior to departure make sure that your original airline will transfer bags to your connecting flight - if not, you need, after customs clearance, take them to your connecting terminal and check them in at your connecting airline counter before proceeding to your gate.

1. For items lost onboard your aircraft or in the boarding area of the Terminal, contact your airline's lost & found department.
2. For items lost at the security checkpoint of CLT Airport, contact TSA Lost & Found at 704-916-2200
3. For items lost at restaurants or food court, contact HMSHost at 704-359-4316
4. For items lost at stores contact Pardies Shops at 704-359-1890
5. For items lost at all other areas of the Airport, call Lost & Found at 704-359-8765 or email lostandfoun@cltairport.com; after 4 pm leave message indicating your name, phone number, e-mail address, date & location of item lost, description of item - including cell phone number, carrier & brand.

A mailbox and stamp machine are located at the start of Concourse D next to the restrooms and ATMs.

Pets / Animals at Charlotte Douglas CLT Airport
Please contact your individual airline to learn their policies on traveling with pets. There is a pet relief area across from the baggage claim area, in the grassy area next to the parking structure.
Smoking at Charlotte Douglas CLT Airport
Charlotte/Douglas International is a "smoke free" facility like all other City-owned facilities in Charlotte. Smoking is prohibited in all public areas of the Airport except for some leased areas that may have designated smoking areas such as bars and lounges. All designated smoking areas have been improved with enhanced air circulation. Smoking is allowed outside the terminal building on the upper and lower levels.
Travelers Assistance at Charlotte Douglas CLT Airport
Families, Unaccompanied Children , Senior Citizens and Disabled Persons.
Passengers needing special assistance with families, unaccompanied children and Senior Citizens must contact their airline for accommodations.
Upon request assistance Carts is available to passengers, airlines will provide an assistance cart to assist passengers in accessing different areas of the passenger terminal. Assistance carts can also be obtained through a Skycap.
