Airport Guest Services, Airport Information and Travelers Assistance
The Welcome Center at Charlotte/Douglas International Airport provides general airport information, tourism information of Charlotte and the Mid-Carolinas Region, and paging services. The Welcome Center is open daily from 7:45 a.m.-11:00 p.m. and is located on Baggage Level. To contact the Welcome Center, please call (704) 359-4027.

Information Counter
The Information Counter at Charlotte/Douglas International Airport provides general airport information and paging services. The Information Counter is located on the Ticketing Level and is open daily from 7:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. To contact the Information Counter, please call (704) 359-4013.

Convention Services
Charlotte/Douglas International Airport provides various services to assist in welcoming convention groups to the Charlotte area. International arrivals are received in Zone D of the Baggage Claim Area.
If an item is left on the airplane or in the gate area of the concourse, it must be obtained through the airline.

If an item is lost or left at one of the security checkpoints, it must be obtained through the TSA at 704-359-5195.

If an item is left in The Atrium, please call Airport Lost and Found at 704-359-4012.

If an item is lost in the Airport Parking areas or a Parking Shuttle bus, please call 704-359-4038.

U.S. Postal Service mailbox and stamp machine are located at the beginning of Concourse D next to the restrooms and ATMs.

Also, along the curbside, you will find drop boxes for the U.S. Postal Service, Airborne Express, UPS and Federal Express.

Please contact your individual airline to learn their policies on traveling with pets.
Charlotte/Douglas International is a "smoke free" facility like all other City-owned facilities in Charlotte. Smoking is prohibited in all public areas of the Airport except for some leased areas that may have designated smoking areas such as bars and lounges. All designated smoking areas have been improved with enhanced air circulation. Smoking is allowed outside the terminal building on the upper and lower levels.
Families, Unaccompanied Children , Senior Citizens and Disabled Persons.

Passengers needing special assistance with families, unaccompanied children and Senior Citizens must contact their airline for accommodations.
Upon request assistance Carts is available to passengers, airlines will provide an assistance cart to assist passengers in accessing different areas of the passenger terminal. Assistance carts can also be obtained through a Skycap.
