- TVC Airport Overview
Cherry Capital Airport TVC is located off the scenic Grand Traverse Bay of Lake Michigan, in the northern Peninsula of Michigan State, and at the outskirts of Traverse City. The Airport has a state-of-the-art Airline Terminal complex, offers close parking, electronic check-in computers, advanced baggage screening, and an outdoor garden for ticketed passengers. Passengers can be dropped off under a weather-resistant canopy entrance. You have a choice of taking your air ticket to one of fourteen cherry wood counters in the east hall and check in with the airline, or swipe a credit card at an electronic check-in computer, print out a boarding pass and be on their way. Cherry Capital Airport uses the Baggage 5500 – a most effective system. The terminal also features security tracking system and will soon incorporate one of the first biometrics access systems in the country.
Major airlines offer direct flights to hubs like Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis (and seasonally) New York, with easy connections to destinations throughout the US and overseas.
