Dallas Love Field DAL Airport Terminal Map

Main Terminal / Concourses at Dallas Love Field DAL Airport

NOTE:  The current 'Wright Amendment'  - severely restricting non-stop flight destination options - will expire October 13, 2014 - causing the Airport to prepare for increased air & passenger traffic after this date. Already, airlines have committed to add a considerable number of destinations after the quoted expiration date.

Traffic at Love Field Until 2014:
the DART bus 524 stop will now be
near Terminal 1, south of the pedestrian walkway leading to Parking Garage B. This bus will get you to the DART Orange & Green lines serving the irport's Inwood/ Love Field Station.  Upon completion of the integrated passenger terminal in 2014, a people mover system will link it directly to the DART's Burbank Station.
2. All courtesy shuttle pickup (for hotel, car rental, private parking) is now on the lower level of Baggage Claim - accessible by escalators /stairs - for elevator access, use the ones in the Ticketing/Check-In area.
3. No curbside parking - towing will be enforced.

Currently,  Dallas Love Field has a new Main  Passenger Terminal, while a temporary Terminal 1 will only be in operation until October 2014:
The new passenger terminal - inaugurated in April 2013 - replaced its aging terminal is intended for short-haul flights. It is bright & spacious, with high ceilings, wonderful art and a large selection of restaurants and retail concessions. With 20 gates, gate areas offfer electric & USB outlets.  Concessions will more than double, WiFi access will be free for first 30 minutes free, the baggage facility wil have been expanded and only a consolidated new terminal will be operational.
NOTE: temporary Termina 2 / West Concourse, which served until recently Southwest airline passengers,  has now been closed & will be demolished. Southwest Airline passengers should now use the main security checkpoint  in the new extended lobby, which is enhanced by a mosaic mural representing Dallas sunrise above Texas plants & wildflowers.

Temporary Terminal 1 houses Delta & United Airlines, as well as TSA checkpoint, ticketing, baggage checkin & baggage claim area. United & Delta passengers should use the long-term Parking Garage B, accessible by ground level pedestrian crosswalk.
Passengers flying out of Terminal 1 can still be dropped off and picked up in front of Terminal 1.
Once the Wright amendment expires (Oct.14,'14)  and the Airport will be able to offer flights 'all over the country'  T1 will be demolished and its airlines moved to the New Terminal.

Summary:   Before or on October 13, 2014, there will be one consolidated terminal for all airlines.  Note, however, that Delta is already selling tickets for flights to LAX & SFO scheduled in October 2014.
Furthermore, as American Airlines had to surrender two gates - currently three airlines (Virgin America, Southwest & Delta) are competing for these gates.
