VISITOR INFORMATION CENTER:
The Nova Scotia Department of Tourism, Culture and Heritage operates a Visitor Information Center. Knowledgeable and friendly staff provide answers to your questions and offer a variety of information to make your visit more enjoyable.
Location: Domestic Arrivals area, on main floor of Passenger Terminal.
Hours: 9am-9pm, 7 days/wk (except Dec.25).

Highly-trained, tartan-vested, volunteers provide a warm and friendly atmosphere by offering direction and information about services available at Halifax Stanfield International Airport, and enhance the overall airport experience for everyone using the facility. Do not hesitate to ask them for assistance.

International Travelers at Halifax YHZ Airport
Passengers arriving at Halifax Stanfield International Airport from outside of Canada must report to Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) for inspection.
If you often fly to and from Canada by commercial airline, then CANPASS Air may be for you! CANPASS Air is a joint initiative of the CBSA and CIC. Members of the program are pre-approved to verify that they are low-risk. CANPASS Air members pass quickly through customs and immigration at major Canadian airports via a self-service kiosk that uses iris recognition to verify membership in the program.

Different requirements exist for citizens or permanent residents of the United States, St. Pierre and Miquelon and Greenland.
