Banking Services at YHZ Airport
Halifax Stanfield Airport, represented by the airport code YHZ, provides various banking services to ensure the financial needs of travelers are adequately met. These services range from Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), Banks/Credit Unions, and Currency Exchange Services.
Automated Teller Machines (ATMs)
ATMs are conveniently located in various parts of the airport. Four DirectCash ATMs are situated on the main level; you can find them in the ticket counter area, domestic arrivals, near the food court, and in the retail area. There are also three DirectCash ATMs on the departures level. These are located at the entrance to the departures level, near Beaches Café and Bar, and one across from Starbucks. Additionally, there is a DirectCash ATM on the lower level of the parkade, close to the car rental counters.
For full banking services, there is a Royal Bank of Canada machine available. It is located on the main level in the hallway between the main lobby and domestic arrivals. If you require U.S. currency, there is an ATM operated by International Currency Exchange, found in the U.S. preclearance departures area.
Airport Banks & Credit Unions
For those in need of more comprehensive banking services, the RBC Royal Bank Elmsdale Branch is located approximately 9.6 miles from the airport. The bank's address is 178 Hwy 214, Elmsdale, NS B2S 1H7, Canada, and they can be reached at +1 902-883-2261. They are open from Monday to Tuesday from 9:30AM to 5PM, Wednesday to Thursday from 9:30AM to 8PM, Friday from 9:30AM to 6PM, and Saturday from 9AM to 4PM. Please note that they are closed on Sundays.
