Main Terminal / Concourses at Hanoi Noi Bai HAN Airport
The Y-shaped passenger terminal at Noi Bai Airport, built in 2001, has four levels:
The first level is for domestic Departures, with check-in counters security checkpoints and waiting areas;
the second level is for International Departures, with immigration and security check, a Business Lounge, a smoking area, and departure gates 2-7; and the third level has a duty-free shop.
Airline gates are located in Concourses A, B, C & D, with Vietnam Airlines using Concourse C for international flights and Concourse D for domestic flights.
NOTE: A new International Terminal 2 is being built, scheduled to open in 2014, while the existing Terminal will be modified to become Domestic Terminal 1.
