The majority of the staff is bilingual and is essential in the Airport’s mission to offer services exceeding customers' expectations.

AATC Lost & Found offfice - open Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm - is located in the baggage claim is responsible for all items lost in common areas of the airport (including security checkpoints and also in the AirTran gate area).

Pet Assistance
To accommodate passengers’ pets and guide dogs, a 1,000-square-foot dog park is located in the Ground Transportation area on Terminal South outside of doors W1 and W2. The fully fenced-in park offers biodegradable bags along with flowers, grass, rocks, benches and two original pieces of art.
An additional pet area is located on the lower level of Terminal North outside door LN2 to the right of the building.

Hartsfield-Jackson accommodates more than 76 million travelers annually . However, due to growing demands for air travel, Airport staff persons have worked to ensure that passengers with disabilities are able to move comfortably throughout the Airport with ease.
Airport “Park-Ride” facility commonly known as Disabled Parking area at this airport, offers convenient service to both the North and South Terminals. A free shuttle bus service, which is wheelchair accessible for people who are physically challenged, will pick up passengers at their vehicle and quickly take them to the curbside check-in.

Airport telephone booths are designed to facilitate passengers with special needs are located throughout the concourses. T-3 & 11; A-3, 15, 18 & 22; B-1, 18, 21 & 30; C-1, 14, 28, 31; D-3, 9, 6 & 36; E-7, 15, 29 & the US Customs Area.
Both the North and South terminals offer a special needs telephone in the main corridor near the main security-screening checkpoint. Additional telephones are located in the terminal ticketing areas with two pedestal phones in the Terminal Baggage Area.
