Main Terminal / Concourses at John Wayne SNA Airport
John Wayne Orange County Airport has a main terminal called 'T.F.Riley Terminal', housing 'Terminals' TA, TB & new TC).
Both TA & TB are being renovated to match the new TC. The south side of TB is being expanded for six more airbridges. Security-screened passengers can move between both TA & TB, and both terminals have security screening and a 'Fast Track' lanes for first-class & elite fliers. All terminals have their own concessions.
The Thomas F. Riley passenger terminal has two levels with departures on the upper, and arrivals on the lower level. In the center of the lower level you will find an arresting nine-foot bronze statue of John Wayne dressed in Western regalia.
Terminal A - presently used for Alaska, American, Continental, Delta & WestJet. It houses The Admirals Club (use elevator across gate 8) and United Club (use elevator across gate 9). TA has gates 8-2 and 1A-C.
Terminal B - up to 9/14/11 served by Frontier, United, US Airways & Southwest (Frontier & Southwest will move to Terminal C). TB has gates 9-14.
The new Terminal C - opened Nov. 14, 2011 (along with new Parking Garage C) - has gates 15-21 and 22A, B & C; self-service kiosks and new security screening lanes . It will serve Fontier & Southwest airlines - their arriving passengers, however, will continue to use Baggage Claim B (carousels 3 & 4). Starbucks, Ciao Gourmet Market & CNBC News Express have already moved in (with more amenities and services to follow).
Present services and amenities in TA & TB: Aside from food & drink, and retail concessions, the terminals offer free Wi-Fi internet access, news stands, family restrooms, ATMs and electrical power outlets at all gates. Security-screened passengers can move freely between the terminals.
Rental car desks are located across from the John Wayne statute in the center of the lower Arrivals level.
The Ground Transportation Center is across from the Main Terminal.
NOTE - 1. Due to ongoing construction - it is advisable that you arrive at the Airport 90 minutes prior to domestic, and 2 hours prior to international departures.
