Current and future Airport developments:
Currently, LBA is making 'significant' investments to the terminal - to be completed before the 2017 summer season. This involves terminal front works (a glass frontage), more light & space on pre-security walkway & check-in areas; changes to departure & arrival gates to improve passenger movement; upgrading restrooms; and add new flooring at pre- and post-security areas. Passengers' movements will not be disrupted during this period.
The new Masterplan 'Route to 2030' will be published by yearend 2016.
