Leeds Bradford International Airport LBA serves England's city of Leeds and is Yorkshire's largest airport. Bridgepoint Capital is its sole owner and operator.

LBA Airport is located at Yeadon (within the metropolitan district of Leeds), in West Yorkshire, and northwest of Leeds City, accessible via a new road link connecting to motorway 65, and then to A658.

With one runway and 3.5 million passengers in 2016, Leeds Bradford International is served mainly by low-cost airlines Ryanair & Jet2.com, and a few regular international airlines, offering direct flights throughout Europe with connections worldwide, and by charter companies Thomas Cook and Thomson Air offering seasonal vacation destinations.  The current hub services include Heathrow, Amsterdam, Dublin & Barcelona.

It is recommended that you check in for domestic flights 90 minutes prior to sheduled depature, for European flights 2 hours before, and for international flights three hours before.

The newly upgraded passenger terminal with 10 airline gates can accommodate up to 4.4 million passengers a year. It has large departure lounge, new food & drink establishments, a major walk-through tax & duty-free store, and added retail concessions.  NOTE: By summer 2017, the Airport made the following upgrades:  a glass frontage,  more light & space on pre-security walkway & check-in areas; improvements to departure & arrival gates; upgrading restrooms; and adding new flooring at pre- and post-security areas. 
    The ground level for arrivals & check-in houses at its left end Check-In Hall A with counters A1-A26, Airport & Airline Info counters; domestic arrivals in the center; followed by International Arrivals with nearby Travelex, ATM cash machine, rental car desks, food & drink;  and at the right end Check-In Hall B with check-in counters B40-B55 and an airline info counter.
    The first level for Departures
houses a large departure lounge with a glass roof,  - divided into Check-in Halls A & B (A southeast, check-in B40-B55; B (west of the curve) with check-in A1-A17 and a baggage drop. Security check area, food & drink and retail concessions, with access to the gates:  Gate areas are disbursed over two levels into gates 1,2,3, 4/5, 7/8 and 9/10.  

Airport Lounges:

- The Servisair business lounge in the departure hall is available to all passengers at a fee.
- The Yorkshire Premier Lounge - which has a choice of separate business or leisure zones -  is available to all passengers at a reasonable fee; groups of more than six persons should call 0844 414 3266 or [email protected]
