Nadi International NAN Airport Overview

Nadi International Airport NAN on Viti Levu Island in the South Pacific is Fiji's main Airport and gateway to arriving international passengers and to other Fiji Islands - all belonging to New Zealand.
Tourists from all over the world are drawn to these South Pacific islands for their beauty, the variety of resorts, the entertainment offered and the opportunity for great shopping. The village of Viseisei at Vuda Point, a 20-minute drive from Nadi Airport, is witness to a historical event which took place 350 years ago, when the first Fijians arrived there with their canoes.

The Airport is located in the town of Nadi, on the western side of Viti Levu island, and is only a short drive from the famous Denarau Island - home to world-renowned hotels (Sheraton Fiji, Sheraton Villa, Westin, Hilton, Trendwest, Sofitel, Raddison and the Mariner at Port Denarau).

With an estimated annual passenger count of 1.2M, a host of international & domestic airlines serve Nadi Airport, which is hub to Air Pacific, with direct and connecting flights to all points of the globe, while AirFiji and Pacific Sun offer flights to Fiji's other airports (Nasouri, Savusavu, Lambasa, Taveuni, Kadavu, and more).

The Main passenger terminal l at Nadi International Airport is divided into Domestic & International terminals - offering a host of amenities and services on both of its levels. For passengers in transit, there is a transit lounge. However, if your next flight is scheduled to depart 6 hours or later, you need to exit Immigration & Customs, thereby entering Fiji, and upon your return start the check-in process again. 
A recently expanded departure lounge now provide access to/from departing and arriving aircraft, and offers more food  & shop concessions.  The baggage hall was also extended, adding another carousel and customs & biosecurity functions. 
Internet kiosks are available at Domestic terminal, Farewellers Hall, International Departures lounge and in the Arrivals Concourse. Hotspots are also located thoughout the Domestic Terminal and International Arrivals & Departures. You have the option of using your credit card or purchasing an internet card from various stores in the Terminal.
Other services and amenities include:
On the ground level near the terminal entrance is a Domestic Departures Check-in area and an International Departures Check-in area. At the very left side is a cafe, luggage storage room, restrooms/showers, & ANZ ATM machine. The center of the ground level houses Domestic Arrivlas baggage, luggage wrap service VAT refund,  Western Union, cafes, fast-food, shops, Immigration & an elevator. To the right of the ground level are a number of duty-free shops, & VIP lounges.
On the second level of the terminal are duly-free shops, a Government VIP Lounge, toilet/shower facilities, ANZ bank currency exchange, a restaurant & bar, a cafe and some shops.
Airline lounges at Nadi International Airport for Air Pacific, Air New Zealand, Rosie Travel, & Tour Managers, as well as one for Foreign Dignitaries, are offering shower, business, and food & drink services. 

Parking at Nadi International Airport is available in the parking lot across from the passenger terminal, and can be used for hourly, daily, weekly & monthly parking. Fr more parking informationn call 6725777, Ext. 6171.

Getting from Nadi International Airport to your destination:  Rental car counters are in the Arrivals area.  You may drive in Fiji with a valid driver licence. Note that the maximum speed in residential & business areas is 50km/hr or 30mph; on highways 80km/h or 50mph. Driving is on the left side of the road.
You have the choice of air-conditioned coaches or open-air buses with canvas flaps in case it rains. Local bus stops can be found in every town - but you can hail any public bus simply by waving to the driver.
