Kingston Norman Manley International Airport KIN, simply referred to as NMIA, is the Caribbean island of Jamaica's primary airport.
The airport is less than 20 minutes from Kingston's city center, located on the Palisadoes peninsula in outer Kingston Harbour, facing the capital city of Kingston, Jamaica, on one side and the Caribbean See on the other. With one runway and an estimated 1.6 million passengers a year, Norman Manley International is hub to Caribbean Airlines and is served by a number of international airlines and charters offering direct and connecting flights to all points of the globe.

The passenger terminal at Norman Manley International has completed Phase 1A of its 'Expansion & Development Program'  which included a new concourse, a Departure Hall with concessions; increased check-in common-user system, selve-service checkin kiosks, expanded outbound immigration & security sceening; a two-level passenger pier (concourse) for separate arriving & departing passengers; a new departure lounge on the upper level with added concessions; 9 boarding bridges; upgraded Arrrivals area; a new ground transportation hall,  and general Airport upgrades included in Phases 1A & 1B.   Phase 2 of the expansion & renovation program will include further improvements.

Amenities & Services inside the passenger terminal include: Customer Service Information desk (tel. (876-924-8546, or  1-888-247-7678); internet  through HotSpot (Departure lounge); currency exchange (tel. 876-924-8139); hotel & tour operator desks in the new Ground Transportation Hall, outside the Customs arrival area; Lost & Found (tel. 876-924-8452, ext. 2063); ATM dual currency machines; foreign currency exchange by Cambio Seerces; postal agency, conference facilities, and a good number of food & drink and retail concessions. 
Airline Lounges:  Air Jamaica, American Airlines & British Airways (for departing business-class members, at Mezzanine, Departures area);  and the VIP Lounge, which is the Airport lounge.

Parking at Norman Manley International is available across from the passenger terminal.

To get from Norman Manley Airport to your destination you can rent a car in the Ground Transportation Hall from Avis, Budget, Hertz or Island Car, or you can use one of the many hotel- and door-to-door shuttle services listed in the ground transportation hall.

New Airport Developments:  Phase 2 of the Exansion & Development Program is scheduled to commence 2013.
