Roanoke Regional Airport ROA is located in the City or Roanoke, south-west Virginia, surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains and easily accessible by Interstates 81 (Exit 143 to I-581/ to Peters Creek/ to Airport Road). It is a full-service airport accommodating all types of aviation: scheduled airlines, freight carriers, general aviation, corporate, air taxi and charter operations and the military.The airlines serving Roanoke Regional Airport offer many non-stop flights to major cities, with connections throughout the U.S. and overseas.
The Y-shaped passenger terminal has two levels - the first floor offers vending, change and ATM machines, Telephones (TTY, TDD) & data ports; shoeshine stand, mail box and a hotel information desk - the second floor offers telephones, an ATM machine and airline gates. Curbside parking has a five-minute-only limit. If you need more time, park in the short- or long-term lot where you get the first 15 minutes free. The parking lots offer free shuttle bus to/from the terminal 5am-7pm.
