Other services offered at Sacramento Airport:

Information Booths are staffed by volunteer Airport Ambassadors, located  lobbies of Terminals A and B of the Airport. Those trained volunteers are on hand daily 8am-8pm to answer questions and offer information about the airport and local tourist attractions.
Brochures available at the booths includes the Sacramento Convention and Visitors Bureau ‘Visitors Guide, brochures for various attractions throughout the region, and a variety of airport publications. Volunteers will answer questions about International’s facilities and services, provide directions to visitors from out of town, and contact the Sheriff’s Department in the event of an emergency.

Priority lanes  for all airlines are available at security checkpoints in both Terminals A & B. As each airline has its own criteria for usage, it is best to contact your airline for specifics.

IAll international arrivals - with the exception of those who went through U.S. Customs clearance at participating airports - need to go through passport control, pick up their bags and go with them through Customs clearance .  If they continue their journey  they need to re-check-in their bags where indicated, before proceeding to to their connecting flight's gate.  For Terminal and /or Concourse connections, please refer to 'Terminal Map' page.

NOTE: Prior to departure make sure that your original airline will transfer bags to your connecting flight - if not, you need, after customs clearance, take them to your connecting terminal and  check them in at your connecting airline counter before proceeding to your gate.

Report lost luggage, or items lost in the gate area of SMF Airport, or onboard your airplane, directly  to you airline's lost & found department.

All items lost in other parts of the terminal will be turned over to the Airport Division of the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department - located at7001 LindbergDrive, Sacramento, SA 95837 (tel. 916-874-0701 - open weekdays 8am-5pm).     You can make your claim online at sacsheriff.com/airportlostandfound/  (hit "Start" at end of page).

To report a lost item or to turn in a found item at SMF Airport , call 4-0701 from any white courtesy phone located in the terminal. Outside the Airport call (916) 874-0701.

Animals are not permitted in the terminal at SMF Airport unless they are being used to assist disabled individuals, or are in proper pet carriers. Contact your airline as to their requirements.

Pet relief areas:
Terminal A - right behind Southwest Airlines curbside check-in;
Terminal B at grass patio area on south end outside baggage claim.

Smoking is not allowed inside or within 20 feet of any Sacramento County building.
