Visitor Information Center: - open seven days a week in both the South (Domestic) and North (International) terminals of the Airport. They are staffed with helpful volunteers organized by the Anchorage Convention and Visitors Bureau:
(a)The South Terminal visitor information center is located in the lower level of the terminal. It is staffed from 9AM to 4PM, seven days a week. The phone number is (907) 266-2437.
(b) The North Terminal visitor information center is located in the lobby of the terminal. It is staffed from 9AM to 4PM, seven days a week during scheduled flight arrivals. The phone number is (907) 266-2657.
The visitor information center located in the Transit lounge of the North Terminal has visitor information for international transit passengers. The phone number is (907) 248-0162.
Sleep / Rest Center:
The Right Touch Massage & Rest Center is located behind security in the C Concourse of the South Terminal. It is open from Noon to 2:30 a.m. during the winter (Sep. 16th - May 14th) and from 10 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. during the summer (May 15. - Sep. 15th).
Rooms may be rented past 2:30am if needed. Single , Double & Family sleep rooms are available. Charges for the sleeping rooms are as follows: Single Room - $10 per hour with the 4th hour free. Double Sleeping Room (recliner love seat that accommodates 2 people or mother and child) - $12.00 per hour with the 4 hour free. Family Rooms (8 foot recliner that will accommodate up to 3 adults) are $15 per hour with the 4th hour free. The single and double sleeping rooms also have DSL ports in them. All rooms have alarm clocks.
The center also offers a full body aqua massage, computers w/internet access, cable TV. Call (907) 243-3443 for more information and reservations .
Baggage and Freezer Storage Service
(a) South Terminal - Open 5:00 AM - 2:00 AM
Baggage and freezer storage is available at the Airport in the South (Domestic) Terminal on the Lower Level next to Visitor Information. Services are provided in the North (International) Terminal seasonally. Use the free airport shuttle that operates every 15 minutes between terminals. Charges are $5 to $7 per bag, per day depending on size. Fish boxes, etc. are charged $12 to $15 per box, per day depending on size. There is no time limit as to length items may be stored. (b) North Terminal - Open seasonally (until September 20, 2008)
Baggage storage is available at the Airport in the North (International) Terminal across from Continental Airlines ticket counter. Hours of operation are Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday from 10am to 10pm and every other Wednesday (starting June 11, 2008) from 10am to 10pm. Rates are $5.00 to $7.00 depending on size of bag, per day. No cold storage is available in the North Terminal. Passenger must have airline ticket in order to use this service. TheLost and Found office is located in the C Concourse, across from Northwest Airlines Ticket Counter. If you lost an item in an ANC terminal, parking garage, or shuttle bus, visit the office or call (907) 266-2623 for assistance. Be prepared to provide your name, address, phone number and a detailed description of the lost item.
Lost and Found items are kept for approximately 60-90 days before being disposed of.
For items lost with a specific airline carrier or on a flight, contact the airline directly.
Pets / Animals at Ted Stevens Anchorage ANC Airport
The Airport offers outdoor pet relief areas at both terminals. Signs providing directions to these areas can be found on the curbside adjacent the baggage claim doors. While inside the terminals, dogs shall remain inside their kennels or on a leash whenever accompanied by their owner/handler.
Smoking at Ted Stevens Anchorage ANC Airport
smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the terminal buildings. Smoking is permitted outside of the South Terminal (lower level) and North Terminal in designated smoking areas
