• ILM Airport Overview
  Wilmington International (ILM) Airport, formerly known as New Hanover County Airport, is a small and hospitable airport that serves southeast North Carolina. In addition to general aviation services, ILM airport is served by two commercial airlines – U.S. Airways and Delta Connection. U.S. Airways offers daily, nonstop flights to Charlotte, New York and Washington, D.C. Atlantic Southeast Airlines, operating as Delta Connection, offers daily, nonstop flights to Atlanta and Comair, another Delta Connection partner, will begin daily, nonstop flights to Cincinnati in December, 2004. With these flights to major hub airports, Wilmington residents can reach over 145 domestic and international destinations with only one stop. The airport is easy to navigate with a single level terminal connected to a concourse with boarding gates. Rocking chairs are available throughout the airport for some down-home relaxation while waiting for your flight or baggage.
