Because a separate, standard Wireless LAN card is used, there is no need to connect the laptop to a mobile phone, which can be used normally during a Public Wireless LAN session.
There are several access points in the main waiting areas at Zurich airport. These Hotspots provide a direct connection to the Internet
As a special service the Airport provides free Internet access to flight plan information, train schedules or bus services at Zurich Airport.

Travel accommodations for passengers with restricted mobility (PRMs).
PRIOR TO DEPARTURE:
When you or your travel agent make airline reservations, state clearly your disability status and whether you want to use your own wheelchair or need one on loan from the Airline. It is crucial to contact your airline at least 48 hours before your scheduled flight in order to enable them to make the proper arrangements.
AT CHECK-IN:
Early check-in (2-3 hours in advance) is recommended. PRMs will be brought to the aircraft in their own wheelchairs wherever possible, and will be tagged with a “Delivery Aircraft” label and properly stowed in the aircraft hold after passenger is seated on board. (Remove personal effects like seat cushions, rear-view mirror,
etc. to avoid loss or damage.) PRMs without their own wheelchairs will be cared for according to their disability.
All baggage and freight items must be x-rayed and checked--it is necessary therefore to make clear whether a PRM with an electrically powered wheelchair or minitrac can proceed to the gate independently.
Electrically powered wheelchairs with either a wet, dry or gel battery: The battery must be disconnected from the motor. Wet batteries should be properly packed.
Zurich Airport distinguishes 3 categories of wheelchairs:
WCHR = PRMs requiring a wheelchair for longer distances, but who are able to board and exit the aircraft on their own.
WCHS = PRMs who cannot board or exit the aircraft on their own, but are able move about inside the aircraft by themselves.
WCHC = PRMs who are completely immobile.
BLND: Blind passengers
DEAF: passengers who cannot hear, as well as passengers who cannot hear and speak.
These 4-letter codes are included in the passenger reservation to notify the airline and handling agent of the passenger’s disability.
