Ellis OAJ Airport Overview

Jacksonville Ellis Airport OAJ is an important part of the North Carolina's Onslow County and its communities and supports economic development, tourism, enhances quality of life of its citizens and adds to national security.

The Airport is located in Richlands, and is 10 miles northwest of Jacksonville, on Catherine Lake Road 111, accessible from SR 258 Richlands Hwy (exit Fowler Manning Rd).

With one runway, the Airport is currently served by US Airways Express and Delta Connection, offering direct flights to select U.S. hubs with connections around the world.

The new passenger terminal at Ellis Airport offers rental car counters, a restaurant, cafe, gift shop, lost & found (contact the Airport Police at 910-324-1100, ext. 3166) and Wi-Fi connection.

Parking options at Ellis Airport include over 500 spaces for short- and long-term parking, open 4:30am until arrival of the last flight  (after-hours, contact the airport police), with the first 15 minutes fee. Motorcycles must enter at the Toll Booth.

To get fom Ellis Airport to your destination, you can rent a car, or take a taxi (in front of the baggage claim area) 

Future Airport developments:  A new passenger terminal, air traffic control tower ocorporate/ General Aviation Terminal are part of the Airport's Masterplan.
