Main Terminal / Concourses at Albuquerque Sunport ABQ Airport
The three-level Main Passenger Terminal at Sunport Airport, with Concourses A & B and commuter gates E, has received recent renovations, has internet access throughout all terminals, and houses the following services and amenities:
Level 1 of the Main Terminal (with outside ground transportation counter, and shuttle & taxi service) has baggage claims 1 to 8 (oddsize luggage goes on baggage belt 8) and baggage claim offices. In the center is the escalator to the second floor, a visual paging kiosk, an information center, rental car courtesy phones, a visual paging kiosk, and a chapel. This level connects to the parking garage.
Level 2 of the Main Terminal houses Police, Federal Inspection & Customs & Border Patrol. It has on one side of the Great Hall's escalators the airline counters for United, American, US Airways, Frontier & Delta airlines, and on the other side airline counters for Southwest. Beyond the flight information displays and the Communications Center, is another ticket counter for Great Lakes & New Mexico Airlines, and across from it is the Commuter Airline Gate E.
Level 3 of the Main Terminal houses food & drink establishments, shops, Aviation Dept. Offices, TSA checkpoint, an ATM machine and a passenger greeting area. This level also has the security checkpoint and a connector to Concourses A & B with a food court.
Concourse A of the Main Terminal with Gates A2 to A14 presently serves Southwest only. ATM machines are near Gates A1, A4 & A6. Concourse has some food & drink establishments, newsstands, laptop charging & workstation area, and the Route 66 Lounge.
Concourse B of the Main Terminal with Gates B1 to B10 presently serves American, Delta, Frontier, US Airways & United. It has some eateries and shops, a SortBar, ATM machine & laptop charging & workstation area.
NOTE: As of April 2013, JetBlue offers a daily service to New York's JFK Airport .
