The infrastructures, facilities and services at Barcelona airport comply with a whole series of requirements that grants its facilities a high level of accessibility. Urban planning and accesses Reserved parking places signposted for the disabled in the closest areas to the terminals. Access to the different floors of the raised car parks of T1, T2A and T2C through lifts. Connection between car parks and T1 by airbridge and lifts; connection between T2 and the car parks by airbridge equipped with moving walkways. Terminals Access to the terminal lobbies by adapted automatic sliding or revolving doors. Level changes between the lower floor and upper floor of the terminals by lifts. Inclusion of adapted controls with embossed text or Braille in the cabins of the new lifts. Public toilets adapted and signposted according to legislation. Presence of information desks adapted for people in wheelchairs (restricted area). Existence of accessible public telephone booths. Information for the disabled. Distribution of leaflets concerning “Information for the Disabled” in displays and on public information desks. Provision of copies of “Passenger Rights and Information for people with reduced mobility” in Braille at information desks. Green Jacket Staff with knowledge of sign language.
