- CYS Airport Overview
The Cheyenne Regional Airport CYS is located within the City of Cheyenne on Central Ave. (Hwy 85), off Interstate Hwys 25, 80 and 180. It is a small airport situated on the southeastern corner of Wyoming and bordering the States of Colorado to the south and Nebraska to the east. The airport offers daily flights to Denver, Colorado, on Great Lakes Airlines and casino flights by Max Airlines to Wendover. Short- and long-term arking is available to the west of the terminal, while teh two-hour parking lot is in front of it, to be used for loading and unloading. All parking is free! If you want to grab a bite to eat before your flight, your one option is Cloud Nine Restaurant, which is a favorite with travelers and locals alike. The terminal also houses a full-service hair salon, a travel agency and Hertz & Avis rental car agencies. Taxis are available to get you to town.
