Fayetteville Grannis Field FAY Airport Overview

Fayetteville Regional Airport FAY serves a 12-county area in the Sandhills of the southtern part of North Carolina, along the I-95 corridor.  It opens at 3:30am and closes with the last flight arrival of the day; ticket counters open 4:30am. The Airport is situated in Fayetteville, the 'City of Dogwoods'. Coming from Interstate 95, North or South, take Exit 44 via Snowhill Rd., travel west and follow the airport trailblazing signs for approximately 3 miles to Airport Rd; turn right within 1000 feet; you will be on the airport's terminal access road, which circles the airport parking facilities.

With an estimated 470,000 passengers a year, the Airport is served by Delta, US Airways and American Airlines, offering direct connections to major US hubs, with connections around the globe.  NOTE: US Airways offers direct daily flight to/from Washington Reagan Airport as of 3/25/12 (leaving FAY at 5:30am; returning same day at 9:30pm. - a 2-hr flight each way.

Parking options at Fayetteville Airport include short-term (30 minutes $1) and long-term lots.

Rental car counters for major agencies are located in the Arrivals area of the passenger terminal.

To get from Fayetteville Airport to your destination, you can either rent a car or take a taxi - a taxi cab booth is in the baggage claim area of the terminal.
