Airport Terminal Layout
Fayetteville Airport has a single terminal building that is divided into two levels. The lower level is used for arrivals and baggage claim, while the upper level is used for departures and check-in. The terminal is relatively small and easy to navigate, with all gates located in close proximity to the main building.
Overview of Terminals
The terminal at FAY Airport is modern and well-maintained, with a range of amenities and services available to passengers. These include a variety of dining and shopping options, as well as free Wi-Fi throughout the terminal. The airport is served by several major airlines, including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines, offering non-stop flights to a range of domestic and international destinations.
Getting Between Terminals
As the airport has only one terminal building, there is no need to transfer between terminals. All gates are located within easy walking distance of the main terminal, making it easy to navigate the airport and find your way to your departure gate. If you do need assistance, the airport staff are friendly and helpful, and will be happy to provide directions or answer any questions you may have.
Food, Shops & Services
When it comes to food and shopping, FAY has plenty of options to choose from. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a last-minute souvenir, you'll find it here.
For food, there are several restaurants and cafes located throughout the airport. If you're in the mood for a classic burger and fries, head to the airport's diner-style restaurant. For a healthier option, there's a salad bar that offers fresh and customizable salads. And if you're in a hurry, grab a sandwich or snack from one of the airport's grab-and-go kiosks.
As for shopping, there are a variety of stores that offer everything from books and magazines to clothing and accessories. If you're looking for a last-minute gift or souvenir, there's a gift shop that sells local products and souvenirs. And if you need to stock up on travel essentials, there's a convenience store that sells snacks, drinks, and toiletries.
Aside from food and shopping, Fayetteville Grannis Field Airport also offers a range of amenities and services to make your travel experience as comfortable as possible. There are charging stations located throughout the airport, so you can keep your devices powered up while you wait for your flight. And if you need to get some work done, there's free Wi-Fi available throughout the airport.
Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
Fayetteville Airport has one security checkpoint located on the first floor of the terminal building. Passengers are required to go through security screening before entering the boarding area. The airport advises passengers to arrive at least two hours before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for the security screening process.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Unfortunately, FAY Airport does not currently offer fast track lanes for expedited security screening. However, passengers with disabilities or medical conditions may request assistance from TSA Cares, a program that provides additional support and accommodations during the security screening process. To request assistance, passengers can call the TSA Cares hotline at least 72 hours before their scheduled departure time.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
The airport does not have international flights, so there are no passport or immigration control locations within the airport. However, passengers traveling domestically are still required to present a valid form of identification, such as a driver's license or passport, at the security checkpoint. It is important for passengers to ensure that their identification is up to date and matches the name on their boarding pass before arriving at the airport.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
FAY has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints for passengers to go through before boarding their flights. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible passengers to go through a faster security screening process. To be eligible for TSA Pre Check, passengers must apply and be approved for the program, and then they can use the TSA Pre Check lane at the airport. The TSA checkpoint is for all other passengers who are not eligible for TSA Pre Check. It is important for passengers to arrive at the airport with enough time to go through security and make it to their gate on time.
Global Entry Locations
Fayetteville Grannis Field Airport does not have a Global Entry Enrollment Center on site. However, there are several enrollment centers located in nearby cities, such as Raleigh and Charlotte. Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. To apply for Global Entry, passengers must submit an application and go through an interview process at an enrollment center. Once approved, they can use Global Entry kiosks at participating airports to avoid long lines at customs and immigration. Passengers should check the Global Entry website for a list of enrollment centers and schedule an appointment for their interview.

Fayetteville Airport may be small, but it still offers a few lounges for travelers to relax in before their flight. The airport has a United Club Lounge located near gate 3, which is open to United Airlines passengers and Star Alliance members. The lounge offers complimentary snacks, drinks, Wi-Fi, and comfortable seating.
In addition to the United Club Lounge, there is also a Military Lounge located near baggage claim. This lounge is exclusively for military personnel and their families, offering a quiet space to rest and relax before or after their flight.
Baggage Claim Areas
Upon arrival at FAY Airport, passengers can easily locate the baggage claim area by following the signs. The airport has two baggage claim carousels, one for domestic flights and another for international flights. The baggage claim area is spacious and well-lit, making it easy for passengers to locate their luggage. In case of any missing or damaged baggage, passengers can report to the baggage service office located near the baggage claim area.
Luggage Cart Availability
The airport provides luggage carts for passengers to transport their luggage from the baggage claim area to the parking lot or ground transportation area. These carts are available free of charge and can be found near the baggage claim area. However, due to limited availability, passengers are advised to return the carts to the designated areas after use. In case of unavailability, passengers can seek assistance from airport staff.
Luggage Storage Locations (Left Luggage)
FAY does not have any left luggage facilities. However, passengers can store their luggage at nearby hotels or luggage storage facilities outside the airport. Some hotels offer luggage storage services for their guests, while others provide this service for a fee. Passengers can also find luggage storage facilities near the airport, which offer short-term and long-term storage options. It is advisable to check the operating hours and fees of these facilities before storing luggage.
