GRR Airport is located in Grand Rapids, County of Kent - at the intersection of 44th Street & Patterson Avenue (25 minutes from downtown) - acccessible via Interstate Hwy. 96, M6 & US Hwy 131.

Gerald Ford International Airport has one passenger terminal with two Concourses.
Present and future Airport developments: Phase 1 of terminal upgrades involved a consolidated security checkpoint and a food & drink and retail area, as well as new terrazzo floors and other improvements. Phase 2 added 1,138 more covered spaces on level 4 of the parking deck. A temporary hallway was constructed for Concourse A and queue lines adjusted. Concourse A' s upgrade work will match 'new' Concourse B. Currently under Phase B2 the International Room is closed.
Phase 3 work involves the Gateway Transformation Project in the areas near the baggage claim and in the Departure area between Food Court & Gift Shop - to be completed by June 2017.
