MRY Airport is in the city of Monterey, 5 miles SE from the business District, and is accessible from Hwy 1 south (take the Hwy 68 East exit), drive 1.5 miles on Hwy 68 and at the second light turn left on Olmsted Road; drive straight on to Airport one minute away.
With 2 parallel runways and 400K passengers yearly, Monterey Peninsula Airport is served by a number of major airlines offering direct flights to U.S. hubs with connections around the world.
The small passenger terminal at Monterey Peninsula Airport offers Boingo wireless internet access, and has a full-service restaurant - the Golden Tee, a Cafe, a snack bar, a gift shop/newsstand, and rental car desk for six rental car agencies.
