Monterey Peninsula Airport MRY, a citizen-owned airport covering 598 acres, serves the Central Coast area of California.
The Airport is located in the city of Monterey, on Monterey Bay,  5 miles SE from the business District, and is accessible from Hwy 1 south (take the Hwy 68 East exit), drive 1.5 miles on Hwy 68 and at the second light turn left on Olmsted Road; drive straight on to Airport one minute away.
With 2 parallel runways, Monterey Peninsul Airport is served by American Eagle, US Airways, United Express (SkyWest), and low-cost Allegiant airlines, currently offering non-stop flights to San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Denver. A scheduled shuttle bus runs between Monterey and Salinas and serves both San Francisco and San Jose Mineta airports.

The small passenger terminal at Monterey Peninsula Airport offers Boingo wireless internet access, and has a full-service restaurant - the Golden Tee, a Cafe, a snack bar, a gift shop/newsstand, and rental car desk for six rental car agencies.
