Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport ECP is a new Airport opened in May 2010, replacing Panama City Airport.  Northwest Florida Airport is located in West Bay, north of Panama City, in Bay County, northwest Florida, and close to  St. Andrews Bay at the Gulf of Mexico. The Airport is situated off State Hwy 388 , and between State Roads 79 & 77.
With a 10,000 foot runway (and plans to build an additional one), Northwest Florida Airport is at present served by Delta Connection with a number of daiily fights to Atlanta & Memphis, and by Southwest Airlines with flights to Baltimore/Washington, Houston/Hobby, Nashville & Orlando.  Its 737 carriers have 137 seats, three times as many as before. 

The new passenger terminal at Northwest Florida Airport is considerably larger than was the one at Panama City Airport, with seven gates, most of which have jet bridges. It also has a US Custom & Border Protection area to facilitate arriving international flights. Food & drink establishments as well as a few shops, an ATM machine, rental car counters, information point and tourist information counters are available inside the terminal.

Parking options at Northwest Florida Airport include long- and short-term parking lots which are police-patrolled 24/7. Payment is accepted in cash, check, and major credit cards. No curbside parking is available other than for loading/unloading passengers & luggage.
