Main Terminal / Concourses at Rome Leonardo da Vinci FCO Airport
The passenger terminal complex at Leonardo da Vinci Airport ("LDV") presently has four passenger terminals - T1, T2, T3, & T5, arranged in a semi-circle and surrounding the parking facilities : Terminals 1 & 2 are joined and share the Arrivals level; between Terminals 2 & 3 is the air control tower.
Southwest of Terminal 3 (across from Office Tower 1) is the small Terminal 5 - connected to each other by shuttles, located outside of the departures level of T3.
Getting around at LDV Airport: When connecting from gate to gate, follow signs to "Boarding Area" (gates B through H). All boarding areas are inter-connected, except Terminal 5's boarding area G, which needs a shuttle.
Free shuttles run between all terminals and carparks daily, every 15 mins; during 1am-4am you can also request such shuttle by using the intercom situated at every shuttle stop.
The COTRAL bus, a regional bus, stops outside the arrivals level of Terminal 1. Hotel courtesy shuttles & buses to the city center are located in the parking area across from Terminal 3's arrival level.
The subterranean train station can be reached from Terminal 3 - go to level 2 and follow signs.

Terminal 1 of LDV Airport is for domestic & Schengen flights of Alitalia (codesharing with Air One, KLM & Air France and Luxair & Air Italy). It has areas for arrivals, check-in & departures, and houses Boarding Area B with B gates 1-30. The domestic Arrivals level is shared with Terminal 2.
Terminal 2 of LDV Airport is a small terminal connected at the arrivals level to Terminal 1 and serving both Schengen & Non-Schengen domestic flights; it houses Boarding Area C with with gates C 1-7, and C8-16.
Terminal 3 of LDV Airport - the largest terminal - is for Schengen and non-Schengen domestic flights. This terminal is linked to the subway train.
The Departures level, with five entrances to the check-in Hall, leads by escalators to the first level which houses the customs agency & stores. Terminal 3 has now a single access area for the 18 security checkpoints and the two fast-track channels. After security check you enter the secure area with shops & food & drink establishments, leading to the Boarding Areas D & H with gates D1-10, & H6-19
The Arrivals level of Terminal 3 has 5 exit doors. The Arrivals hall offers food & drink establishments and shops, Information desks, ATM machines, with escalators to the baggage claim area with lost & found counters.
A shuttle bus runs beween T3 and T5's Boarding Area G.
Terminal 5 of LDV Airport - is designated for security-sensitive flights to the United States & Israel only - has one level, with 3 entrances, an Information desk, special assistance lounge, police station, check-in desks, a restaurant, shops, ATM machine, a pharmacy, special security checks & passport control. T5 has boarding area G with gates G1-14.
A shuttle bus connects to T3.
Services and amenities inside the terminals include countless concessions for food & drink, shops & duty-free stores (The 'Rome Airport Shopping Gallery' is Europe's largest shopping mall, with its 'West Satellite' catering to international passengers); Information counters in the Arrivals Hall (+39 (0) 665-953-640) & information touch-screen computers; ATM machines, bank branches, foreign currency exchange and a Post Office (in T1); a business center 'Atahotel Excutive Center - tel. +39 (0)665-010-100) is in TA, level 3, offering meetings rooms video facilities, and support services; pharmacies in T-1 & T3; the First Aid station can be reached at 953 133/4, and the vaccination clinic at 011-438. Left baggage room is at T3 ground floor, international arrivals. Interdenominational chapels are in T2 & T3.
A porter service is located at the arrivals and departure areas of the Airport. Service can be pre-booked by either fax (+39(0) 665-955-995) or by calling +39 (0)665-957-510/4054. The charge is 4 EU for regular and 6 EU for overweight luggage for each terminal, and 8 EU for terminal transfers.
Lounges: VIP lounge Mosaici (tel. 39(0) 665-957-360) is in Terminal B; VIP lounge le Anfore (tel. +39(0)665-954-151) is in Termical C; both lounges offer computers with internet access & showers.
