SJT Airport Overview
San Angelo Regional Airport - Mathis Field SJT is located about eight miles southwest of San Angelo, within city limits, and accessible via Highway 584--Knickerbocker Road. It is the only commercial airport in the Concho Valley of west Texas. The Airport--named for San Angelo native Jack Mathis, the first aviator in World War II awarded the Medal of Honor--is presently served oly by American Eagle. 66,000 passengers use the Airport annually. The Airport facilities include three crossing runways, a parking lot with 352 parking spaces and a 20,000 square foot passenger terminal with four gates. Taxis are readily available to get you from the airport to your destination.
