Steamboat Springs HDN Airport Overview

Steamboat Springs Airport HDN  - formerly known as Yampa Valley Airport - is the only commercial airport serving Northwest Colorado and provides access to the Steamboat Springs ski resort, to year-round activities throughout the Yampa Valley, to Dinosaur National Park, and to outstanding hunting and fishing in Northwest Colorado and Southwest Wyoming.  It offers commercial flights as well as general aviation service to the cities of Steamboat Springs, Hayden, Craig and the entire Yampa Valley.
The Airport is located near Hayden, in Rout County, Colorado - approximately 22 miles west of Steamboat Springs, off Highway 40, on County Road 51A.
While year-round commuter service to Denver is provided by United Express, during the ski season (December-March) Steamboat Springs Airport is host to a number of major airlines with direct service from Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, Newark, New York City, Minneapolis, and Denver.

The passenger terminal at Steamboat Springs Airport has a news & gift shop, a seasonal food & drink establishment, Hayden Pardise Grill open year-round, rental car counters, a game room and a vending machine.

Parking options at Steamboat Springs Airport: The parking lots across from the terminal have an automated paid parking system, and the large lot offers one hour free parking, while the small lot offers 30 minutes free parking. For more parking information call 970-276-5000.

To get from Steamboat Springs Airport to your destination, you can rent a car (Avis, Hertz & Budget at the Airort and Enterprise has an off-Airport office (1-800-261-7331 or  970-826-0808)), or take a taxi or a shuttle service. There is no public bus service from the airport. Rental cars for available inside the terminal.
