Yampa Valley HDN Airport Overview
HDN Airport is located near Hayden, in Routt County, Colorado (off Highway 40, on County Road 51A) - and is approximately 22 miles west of Steamboat Springs,.
With a very long runway and about 200K passengers annually, Yampa Valey Regional is served by year-round commuter service to Denver provided by United Express, and - during the ski season (December-March) - by Alaska, American, Delta & United for passengers heading to Steamboat Springs.
The passenger terminal at Yampa Valley Airport has recently completed its expansion, resulting in a larger check-in area, a second baggage carousel, and a full-service restaurant, and expanded gate area with six gates. WiFi access is free and charging stations are available throughout the termial, which also offers a news & gift shop, full-service Wire Bar & Grill (at pre-security), and The Way Station with hot & cold beverages, muffins & fruit are inside the secured area - both are open year-round. Also available are rental car counters, baggage carts ($4), a scale for your bags, Black Tie Ski rental, the Hanger gift shop, a game room and vending machines. Both 'Steamboat Ambassadors' and the Passsengers Service next to baggage caroussel 2 are at your service.
There is no public bus service from the airport.
