Atlantic City International (ACY) Airport is located approximately 10 miles from downtown Atlantic City, close to the New Jersey shore and the Atlantic City Expressway I-76 and Garden State Parkway, with easy connections to I-95/295 and Hwy 55. In summer you will notice the beautiful wildflowers along the AC Expressway. With shuttle, taxi or rental car transportation you can be at a glitzy casino or on the boardwalk in minutes. ACI International has been undergoing extensive terminal and taxiway expansion projects. Its 6-story, 1,400 space parking garage opened in June 2008 and houses rental cars and rental car agency offices.
Atlantic City airport is serviced by four low-fare airlines; its major one is Spirit Airlines, all of which presently serve Boston, Toronto, Atlanta (with 50 connections), Myrtle Beach and a few Florida cities. A small airport, without the traffic or crowds of large metropolitan airports on the eastern seaboard, you can go from the parking area to ticketing, through security and onto the boarding gate within thirty minutes or less. However, ACY airport wants you to arrive at least an hour or preferably 90 minutes before your flight.
