Online check-in & baggage payment Both online & mobile check-ins online, 24 hrs prior to your departure flight, or at the airport kiosk or British Airways check-in desk. Online, you can elect to purchase an allowance for extra bags. Baggage exceeding 23kg/51lb may incur additional charges.
Carry-on Baggage Rules & Fees 1. One carry-on bag and one handbag or laptop allowed: Carry-on bag max. size: 56x45x25cm or 22x18x10in (incl. handle/pockets/wheels), which must fit into the bag gauge at the checkin area. Laptop or handbag up to 45x36x20cm or 18x14x8in, incl. handle & pockets. Must fit under seat in front of you. For infants under 2 yrs: one bag for on-board infant needs. 2. Exceptions: BA franchise airlines Comair, flights BA62100-6449 & Sunair of Scandinavia, flights BA8200-8299 for all classes have hand bag allowance of 7kg/15lb & 6kg/13lb, respectively. 3. Even if booked directly with BA, your connecting flight may be operated by partner (codeshare) airlines. Check with the other airlines, particularly American and Iberia as to their requirements.
Checked Baggage Rules & Fees 1. (a) Size/weight allowance for each bag: 90x75x43cm/ 35.5x29.5x16in or linear dimensions of 208cm/81in; (b) oversize bags (incl. sport equipment, musical instruments, etc.) up to 190x75x65cm /75x29.5x25.5in, or linear dimensions of 208cm/81in. 1. Different rules for baggage allowances on Codeshare, Oneworld and Alliance partners may prevail, with possible extra charges.
