British Airways Partnerships & Alliances

British Airways is a member of the oneworld Alliance, having joined the alliance in 1999. The oneworld Alliance is one of the three major airline alliances in the world, with 13 member airlines including American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, and Qantas.

British Airways has several codeshare agreements with other airlines, including American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, and Japan Airlines. These codeshare agreements allow British Airways to offer its customers a wider range of destinations and flight options.

In addition to its codeshare agreements, British Airways has several notable partnerships. One such partnership is with Iberia, a fellow member of the oneworld Alliance. The two airlines have a joint venture, allowing them to coordinate schedules and pricing on flights between Europe and South America.

British Airways also has a joint venture with Japan Airlines, allowing the two airlines to coordinate schedules and pricing on flights between Europe and Japan. This partnership gives customers more options for travel between the two regions.

Lastly, British Airways has a special partnership with luxury car brand Jaguar. The two companies have collaborated on several projects, including a marketing campaign featuring the Jaguar F-Type sports car and a limited edition First Class amenity kit designed by Jaguar.
