Eagle County Airport EGE is just minutes from Vail, Colorado, known for its superb skiing in winter and its breathtaking location in the heart Colorado's Rocky Mountains with year-round recreation. During the winter season, some major airlines provide non-stop jet service to 13 major U.S. cities coast to coast, while in the summer season daily nonstops fly to Dallas/Ft.Worth and to Denver, offering worldwide connections..
Since the opening of its award-winning passenger terminal in l996, Eagle County Airport has continually grown, adding customs services for private aircraft and free wireless internet service in the terminal. The passenger terminal offers shops, restaurants, rental car counters, an ATM machine and friendly black-blazor attired Airport Ambassadors helping you get around the Airport. For your transportation needs, in-terminal transportation is available from Colorado Mountain Express (800-525-6363) or High Mountain Taxi (Vail 970-524-5555; Aspen 970-925-8294). A host of other taxi, limo, door-to-door shuttle and bus service is also available. The general Passenger/Shuttle, Limo, & Taxi Driver meeting point in the terminal has been relocated to the westernmost point of the baggage carousel area.
