Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
At EGE Airport, there are two security checkpoints located in the terminal building. The first checkpoint is located on the main level, near the entrance to the airport. The second checkpoint is located on the upper level, near the gates. Both checkpoints are equipped with standard security measures including X-ray machines and metal detectors.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Passengers who wish to expedite their security screening process can use the TSA PreCheck lane at the airport. This lane is located at the main security checkpoint on the main level of the terminal building. Additionally, there is a dedicated lane for first-class and business-class passengers at the same checkpoint.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
As Vail Eagle Airport is a domestic airport, there are no passport or immigration control locations within the terminal building. However, international passengers arriving at a different airport in the United States will go through customs and immigration control at their first point of entry into the country.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
At EGE, passengers can expect to go through TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints before boarding their flight. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible passengers to experience expedited security screening. This means that passengers can keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, and do not have to remove laptops or liquids from their carry-on bags. To be eligible for TSA Pre Check, passengers must apply and be approved through the TSA Pre Check program.
Global Entry Locations
Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. At Vail Eagle County Airport, there are no Global Entry locations available. However, travelers can find Global Entry Enrollment Centers in nearby cities such as Denver and Colorado Springs. To apply for Global Entry, travelers must complete an online application and schedule an interview at an enrollment center. Once approved, Global Entry members can use automated kiosks to expedite their entry into the United States.

Airport Lounge Locations
Vail Airport offers a few lounges for travelers to relax and unwind before their flights. The American Airlines Admirals Club is located on the second floor of the terminal and offers comfortable seating, complimentary snacks and beverages, and free Wi-Fi. The United Club is also located on the second floor and provides similar amenities to the Admirals Club.
In addition to the airline lounges, there is also The Club at EGE, which is accessible to all travelers regardless of airline or class of service. This lounge is located on the main level of the terminal and features comfortable seating, complimentary snacks and beverages, and free Wi-Fi. It also offers a selection of alcoholic beverages for purchase.
Baggage Claim Areas
Upon arrival at EGE Airport, passengers can easily locate the baggage claim areas. There are two baggage claim carousels located on the lower level of the terminal building. Passengers should check the flight information display screens to determine which carousel their luggage will be arriving on. The baggage claim areas are equipped with baggage carts for passenger use.

The airport provides luggage carts for passenger use free of charge. The carts are available in the baggage claim areas and throughout the terminal building. Luggage Storage Locations (Left Luggage)
