Jackson-Evers International Airport JAN is located near the state capital city of Jackson, Mississippi, reachable within a 20-minute drive. The Airport is situated to the North of I-20 and to the East of I-55. Exit I-20 at Hwy 475/ Airport Rd.S; or exit I-55 at Hwy 25/ Lakeland Drive, leading to Airport Road.  At present five major airlines serve the Airport offerig non-stop flights to ten major cities daily, with connections around the world. Delta and its regional jet partners offers the most flights, Southwest is a close second.

The motto to offer 'The Best of the New South' is reflected in the Airport's master plan. As the current terminal facility has reached its full capacity. Jackson airport is gradually expanding its facilities over the coming years. The passenger terminal offers at present free WiFi internet access, Startuckes, a restaurant, a cafe & a gift shop and newsstand.

If you pick up an arriving passenger at the airport, use the free Cell Phone Lot at Car Park C, adjacent to the parking garage - stay with your car until your party has called you to be picked up at the curb. Other parking options include a parking garage close to the terminal, a surface lot nearby, and a long-term lot farther away.

To get from the Airport to your destinaton, you can rent a car, take a taxi, a limo or a bus. Transportation is available outside the baggage claim area, level 1 of the passenger terminal.
