Online check-in & baggage payment You can get a 20 percent discount if you check extra baggage online. Special bags cannot checked online. Overweight baggage fees (30 percent discount - on purchasing overweight units of 5kg/11lb) for KLM flights only can be booked in advance (unrefundable) for all destinations other than to Australia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Germany (Berlin, Munich or Frankfurt), France, Hungary, Ireland or the United States (except from Chicago, San Francisco or Washington DC) you can also pay for excess baggage fee online when booking your KLM flight.
Carry-on Baggage Rules & Fees (a) Economy class: 1 bag up to 55x25x35cm or 21.5x10x13.5in; plus accessories (either a handbag, briefcase, camera, small laptop, ortem of similar or smaller size) both not to exceed 12kg/26lb. (b) World Business Class & Europe Select: 1 bag up to 55x25x35cm or 21.5x10x15in., and 1 bag under 45x20x35cm or 18x8x13.5in, plus accessories - see (a) above - all of which may not exceed 18kg/40lb. (c) Exception: World Business Class passengers on flights from India: only 1 carry-on item; however 2d hand bag is checked in free.
