Main Terminal / Concourses at Malaga AGP Airport
Malaga Airport has presetly two operational passenger terminals - T2 & the new T3 - connected to each other. (Terminal 1 has been empty since the opening of T3 and the shifting over of airlines. It is is being refurbished for future use.)
At present the Airport has three piers /Concourses):
Concourse B in T2 is for non-European Union non-Schengen flights;
Concourse C in T3 is for European Union non-Schengen flights;
Concourse D in T3 is for Schengen flights (European Union & non-European Union); however, the four gates at the end Concourse end may be used on occasion for non-Schengen flights.
Terminal 2 with Concourse B - also referred to as the Pablo Picasso Terminal - serves non-European Union non-Schengen flights. The terminal is undergoing massive renovation. At present it has a basement and three levels above: its basement houses rental car desks (a separate rental car building is next to entrances to the Departures & Arrivals lounges); the ground level is for arrivals.
Concourse B has on level 1 gates B11-20, on the mezzanine level gates B24-30 and on the ground level (P0) gates B32-38.
Terminal 3 with Concourses C & D, adjacent to T2, opened in 2010 and is twice the size of T2. It handles both European Union non-Schengen flights and Schengen flights. The terminal houses 86 check-in counters, 12 baggage carousels, and its Concourses C & D:
Concourse C on level 1 has gates C31-40
Concourse D on level 2 has gates D42-68
Amenities and services inside the terminals include food & drink, as well as retail concessions, banking services, meeting rooms, VIP lounges, tour operators & travel agents, Information counters, and more.
