The passenger terminal at Palm Springs International Airport is designed to take advantage of the sunny, dry weather that has made the area a popular tourist retreat for over a century.
Once through the security checkpoint, you’ll find outdoor waiting areas with grassy knolls and seating that allows you to soak up some last-minute sun before boarding your plane.
Gates 4-11 are to the left and gates 12-20 to the right (for Horizon, US Airways Express, United Express & Delta Connection).
There is also an outdoor children’s play area adjacent to gate 1 and a courtyard area near gates 4-11 with a soaring 40-foot canvas roof and live palm trees.
